ALL-IRELAND SENIOR FOOTBALL FINALSunday Sept. 1st  will be a fantastic sporting occasion as a great Dublin side seek to become the first senior team to win five Championships in a row. It is only fitting,that it is Kerry, the traditional stronghold with 37 titles to their name, including two four-in-a-rows (1929-32 and 1978-81), who contest the premier occasion in the GAA football calender. Jim Gavin and Peter Keane will not mention the elephant in the room but the significance of the occasion will not be lost on all who throng to the citadel or watch/listen at home or abroad, next Sunday. Dublin are strong favourites but history issues caution, this young Kerry team has enormous potential and gan dabth, will continue to  honour the Green and Gold and the proud history that goes with it. All in the District wish Peter Keane, his backroom team, incl. Colm Whelan of St. Senans and all the players, with special mention to Shane Enright, Tarbert and Jason Foley, Ballydonoghue the very best of luck on Sunday at 3-30pm, when the clocks stop.
