Proposal for the Minor Leagues Carried at the May 2019 Meeting. 

Please make management teams aware of this.

• No relegation from Division 1 League to Division 2 Championship. But that their remain promotion, where the Division 2 League winner has the option to remain or be promoted for Championship 2019, (amended at the May 2019 meeting to read).  This is proposed in the interest of fairness and competitiveness for the weaker teams.  This can only be achieved if all delegates agree. Regulations Minor Leagues 2019

1          Minor Leagues no game will be postponed due to unavailability of County Minor Players. (as voted for at May 2015 Meeting)

2.         If a play-off is necessary, CCC to decide venue.

3.         Extra time will be played in semi-finals and finals.

4.         If home pitch is unplayable or unavailable the home club is expected to give at least 3        hours’ notice. A suitable alternative must be found and, if not, the home team must          travel to the opposition.  Failure to adhere to this may mean loss of points.

5.         If there is a three-way tie and if all three teams have taken points off each other,

            scoring average will apply, as per Rule 6.20 (4) (c) (ii), (iii) & (iv) OG 2015.

6.         If two of the teams have beaten the third team, the league result will determine the            placing between the two “winning” teams, while the “beaten” team will be in 3rd   place e.g. a beat b, b beat c and a beat c. The placing will then be (1) a (2) b (3) c

7          Conceding a game will be taken into consideration by the CCC in determining       placing’s. Teams with least no of games played as a result of not fulfilling a fixture   will be placed below any other team with same number of points.

8          The Minor Leagues will be run by the C.C.C.  With all correspondence received in             relation to the Minor Leagues sent to North Kerry Board Secretary Mairead O            Sullivan email osullivan_mairead@yahoo.com

9          No change will be allowed to fixture after midnight on Tuesday the week of the    game. The only exception is where the CCC deems it necessary.

10        Clubs should not agree a postponement of a game under any circumstances unless cleared by CCC. Any request to postpone a game regardless of who makes such a     request should be referred to CCC. Failure to adhere to this could mean refixture            being made by CCC that may not suit teams involved or fixture may fall entirely with neither team being awarded points.

11        If the appointed referee or his nominee fails to turn up for fixture, any neutral        qualified referee recognised by the Board or the County Board and affiliated to the Kerry Referees Committee may officiate. Official lists of all Kerry G.A.A. referees      will be made available to all clubs in the form of the Eolaire.

12        All issues regarding Referees and their appointments will only be addressed by Tom          Moran Tel: 086-3580771.

13        It is the Responsibility of the home Club to pay the Referee expenses before each game. Failure to do so will result in the Club losing Home advantage for their next        game and pay double the fee's as fines.

14        In the event of clash of colours Home team must change.  In the Minor Leagues    amalgamated teams must change.

Format: Division 1 Minor League 2019

15/13 a side Competition

If teams have 16 players or more then it is a 15 aside

If teams have 15 players or less, then it is a 13 a side

Format top two teams in the Final

Final positions in Div 1 and Div 2 of the North Kerry Minor Leagues for 2019 will be determined by League Table scoring difference.  Fixtures fulfilled will be considered when deciding placing and also result of original fixture, where teams finish level on points.

Minor League Division 2

Format: Division 2 Minor League

15/13 a side Competition
