Played in great conditions Duagh started the stronger and went 5 points to
nil by the 10 minute with points all from play by T Scanlon 3 K Lucey 1 and
D Foley 1.Ballyduff opened their scoring with 2 points
from frees by Barry O Grady on 11th and 13th minutes. By the 18th minute it
was 6-3 to Duagh as Nigel O Connor for Duagh (free) and Barry O Grady
(play)  both scored points.Duagh added 5 more points
all from play before half time with scores from Tom Scanlon 2,Tim Scanlon
1,Dinny Lane 1 and Daniel O Donoghue 1 to leave half time score Duagh 0-11

In the second half Ballyduff needed to get more into the game and fair dues
to them the did with 2 quick points from John O Carroll 2 from play in 2nd
and 3rd minutes. Unfortunately that was the end of the
Ballyduff comeback and when Nigel O Connor pointed for Duagh and Tim Quirke
went through for a Duagh goal the result was then not in question. Duagh
added 8 further points before the final whistle

Grady completed the Ballyduff scoring with a point from play.
