Duagh GAA Notes
Duagh senior team has no county league game this weekend.The first game
in the county league will be on weekend of March 28/29 away to
Ballylongford.
In the north Kerry league last weekend Duagh opened well v Finuge and led
by
5 points at half time.Unfortunately the team tired in the second half and
got defeated.
Anthony Maher of Knockadireen starred at midfield for Kerry in the win
over Donegal at the weekend.
DOGS:All roads lead to Horgans farm Kilcara (The Yanks Lawn) on Sunday
March 22nd for the annual Duagh Greyhound Rag Meeting.Already over 70
greyhounds have been entered.There are 4 Stakes An Open Stake sponsored by
the Byrne family Coolanelig,Local stake sponsored by Liam and Elaine
Dennehy Veterinary Clinic,Stake 3 sponsored by Pat O Sullivan and stake 4
sponsored by the Kellys of Jim O Connors Bar and O Connor Hardware.It
should be a great day.A huge programme has been published with many
advertisers.Please come along and support Horgans Farm Kilcara at 11am on
March 22nd.
SCHOOL:Duagh GAA pitch hosted the North Kerry Schools (girls) Cumann na
mBunscol Mini 7's
last week.Duagh NS unfortunately got defeated by Dromclough NS in the final
but well
done to the girls and all concerned.
REGISTER:All players male and female from underage to senior hoping to play
for Duagh
GAA must register or otherwise they will mot be allowed play.Most have
registered already butsome still need to.Registration and club membership
will be open for another while.
