Desmonds had a big win over Brosna in the north Kerry League on Sunday .Desmonds lead from the start as Barry o Neill top scored with 1-5 other scorers were Pa Hickey 0-4 Ciaran o Callaghan 0-2 Thomas Lynch 0-3 Stan Devane 0-1 Maurice o Connell 0-2Graham o Connor 0-2 Micheal walshe 0-1 and Sean lynch 0-2.

There was no winner for a jackpot of 2500 on saturday in Brownes Bar .numbers drawn were 1 5 28 and 31 next draw will be held on march 7 th for a jackpot of 2600.

There was big dissapointment in Casteisland on sunday when the ladies national league game between kerry and Laois was called off by Laois on the morning of the game .A lot of work had gone  into the preparing of the pitch and the facilities for the game and of course  Kerry Captain Cait Lynch was looking forward to leading her team out on to the pitch for kerrys first home game of the league ,Kerry now play Dublin In Legion Pitch next sunday at 12 30 pm
