DUAGH GAA
FIXTURE:Sunday next May 1st in Duagh at 12 noon Duagh v Beale in North
Kerry League Division I.
Membership of Duagh GAA Club for 2015 season is now available.Membership of
the Club is available at a cost of â¬30.00 and can be given to any Club
Officer or paid at Registration night which is being held in conjunction
with the Coiste na Nog on Friday the 6th of March from 7pm to 9pm in the
meeting room at the Sportsfield.Only fully paid up members will be
considered for inter-county match tickets when needed for the Kerry
campaign.Closing date for Membership of the Senior Club is March 31st 2015.
COISTE:Coiste na Nog Registration night for all underage players from U.8
to U.16 both boys and girls is on Friday night the 6th of March 2015 at the
Meeting Room in the Sportsfield from 7pm to 9pm.Please ensure that you have
your child's date of birth for the forms on the night.Cost of Membership
for the year is
Boys â¬25 for first son,â¬20 for second son,â¬15 for third son.
Girls U.12 and U.14 girls are at a cost of â¬40(with Club subsidizing the
balance for the ladies board)
Girls U.8 and U.10 â¬25 for first daughter and â¬20 for second daughter at
this age group.
U6 for boys and girls registration will be at a later date.
MATCH:Duagh GAA senior team opened the season on a winning note in Duagh on
Sunday last defeating St Senans 2-6 to 2-5 in the North Kerry League
Division I.
Duagh under new management fielded a youthful experimental side with some
more experienced players.It was a close game throughout with Duagh leading
for two thirds of the game and Senans taking over in last third.However
Duagh never gave up and as the final whistle approached Senans led by two
points and looked to have secured the points.However a Duagh attack led to
a close in free and with seconds left on the clock a point was of little
use.Nigel O Connor spotted an opening and possibly with the aid of a Senans
deflection the ball ended in the Senans net.The final whistle went on the
kick out and Duagh had secured a win.
Registration night senior and Coiste na nOg Friday March 6th 7 to 9pm in
the GAA kitchen in the sportsfield.
