Castleisland Desmonds 

I am delighed to announce that Kerry Senior Ladies team  manager  Alan O Neill has informed me that  Cait Lynch Of Castleisland Desmonds Gaa club Will Be team Captain Of the kerry Ladies Senior team For 2015.Cait will replace Bernie Breen who was Captain For the past 5 years Cait is an inspirational fearless leader on the field is a former all star and and is probably on of the best defenders in the country .Cait came up through the ranks of ladies football playing at underage with Desmonds then she played junior football with kerry and then on to senior where she soon established herself on the team .This is a great honour for Cait and her family .

Sam Maguire Cup 

The Sam Maguire cup will be in Castleisland along with some of the Kerry Senior team on Thursday 29th of january  it is planned to visit all the schools in the town and surrounding areas on the day .Presentation of juvenile medals will take place later in the evening .

The club have announced the following managment teams  for the comong season 

Minor Manager will be Colm O Shea along with Edmond Hartnett and Patsy o Donoghue 

Junior Manager will be Edmond Hartnett with John Mc Galey and William o connor 

Croke park Tickets 

The deadline for the saleof the Croke Park tickets is 30th january .There are 15 fabulous prizes on offer all sponsored by Croke Park tickets are 10 euros each and all finances generated will stay in the club .We  are delighted to welcome Eamon O sullivan back on the Executive Eamon will take up the position of C .P.Ofor the coming season .
