This Weekend the Senior ladies make the long trip to edinburgh to play the local team in the All Ireland Quarter Final its a trip that will take them by coach to Belfast across in the ferry Overnight in Edinburgh game on saturday again overnight in Edinburgh and the long trip home on Sunday Expected arrival 12 pm .Let us wish the team and managment of Billy Steve Aileen Pa and Dan all the Best on this challenging trip .

Desmonds are into the Co League Final as they defeated The Kenmare Side in Castleisland on Sunday .Without some of the panel Desmonds played with the strong breeze in the first half and were cruising with fine points from Leanne Mangan Rachel Cronin Tina Mangan and Andrea Murphy  They Lead By 6  points after 15 mns but 3 goals in 8mns put the visitors ahead aine O connor Leanne Mangan and Rachel Cronin Responded with points and Desmonds Went In at the break 0-10 to 3-0  Desmond playing into the breeze pulled further  ahead However Kenmare kept at it and came within two points of Desmonds with 14 minutes remaining .Aine O Connr raced i and Rattled the Cross bar  On her second attack she was brought down in the square and Leanne Mangan Put The ball into the bottom Right Hand Corner .This Was the Turning point of the game as Desmonds reach another Final .Best For Desmonds was Cait lynch Eilish lynch Rachel Cronin Leanne mangan and Aine O Connor
