U-16 COUNTY LEAGUE.  ST. Senans  5-11 Legion 4-16. After a shaky start to the first  half,  Senans  settled  down  and  took more of their chances than Legion. Cathal Kennelly  scored 2 great goals  and Colin Browne  another 1.  Half TIME St. Senans 3-6 Legion 1-7.  Second Half Legion had 2 good goal chances Danny Quilter tipping one onto the crossbar and the other flashing wide,  but got two points one from a free bringing the deficit to 3 points.  A goal followed despite  a valiant effort by Danny Quilter who sustained an injury in the process  but bravely played on. LEGION scored from a penalty after this to lead by 3. A point followed to bring the lead to 4. Cathal.  Kennelly  scored a goal to bring it back to a point.   Darragh Stack Scored a goal in the 59th minute after a great passing movement to give Senans the lead, but Legion finished strongly with a goal and and a point to snatch victory. Final Score Senans 5-11 to legions 4-16.

Kerry Minors: Well done to Eamon Whelan and Eoin O Connell on their parts in Kerry's recent  great win over Cork in the Munster final. Best of luck for  the rest of the year.

Crotta: Our Neighbours had a great win in the first round of the championship against Abbeydorney, well done to all.
