Beale seniors secured our opening points in the North Kerry League, Division 1A, with victory over near neighbours, Ballybonohue, on Bank Holiday Monday in Páirc de Staic. It was tit for tat at this local derby on the scoreboard and the field of play The teams were level at the short whistle and exchanged points early in the second half.
The Beale Social is on Saturday in the Golf Club. Dinner 7.00pm sharp, followed by music and dance. A few tickets still available. Contact John Hannan, Colm Kissane or The Railway. Medals will be presented to our Juniors, who made it a North Kerry double in 2022, winning the Intermediate Championship and the Division 4 League.
This week’s Beale Lotto took place on on Bank Holiday Monday night in Courtney’s Bar. Numbers drawn were 2, 9, 10 and 27. There was no jackpot winner. Dónal Buckley was a Math-3 winners, and won €100. Karina O'Connor (Ballyduff) won 5 free tickets.
Next week's lotto jackpot is €2,700. Draw takes place in Sunday night in The Bunker Bar at 9 o'clock. A huge ‘míle buíochas’ to everyone who supports and promotes the Beale Lotto. Great to see large numbers taking part in Every Step Counts challenge. With just over a week to go, we are clocking up the miles and are placed 17th in Munster as many locals walk, run, walk or jog around our beautiful beaches, countryside and town. Enjoy the last week of this challenge.
