Our replay of North Kerry Intermediate Cup final did not take place on Sunday, due to inclement weather conditions. The game has been rescheduled for next Sunday when we play Ballydonohue in Asdee at 1 o’clock. The teams could not be separated at the end of over eighty minutes when they played out a thriller in Ballybunion last weekend. We look forward to another great game on Sunday.  

Congratulations and best wishes to John Hannan who has taken up the role of Chairperson of Beale GAA for a second term.  We look forward to a great year with John at the helm.  

A date for your calendar! Strictly Come Dancing is back! Strictly takes place on Friday, December 30th, in The Tinteán. A great night’s entertainment is planned for what promises to be the event of the festive season. Tickets are now available from the dancers, Bunker Bar, Railway Bar and Joyce’s Newsagents. 

The dancers deserve a special word of thanks for stepping forward and tripping the light fantastic for this great social occasion. With just a few weeks to go, they are being put through their paces by dance instructor, Jackie O'Mahony. A sincere thank you to Jackie from Jackie O'Mahony School of Performing Arts, who has been part of Beale’s Strictly from our first year in 2015. 

There was no jackpot winner and three match-3 winners in this week’s Beale Lotto which took place in Courtney’s Bar on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 2, 14, 18 and 20. Match-3 winners each won €35: Samuel Joyce, Keith Hughes and Liam O’Sullivan. The winner of 5 free tickets was Ray McKenna.  

Next week’s jackpot is €2,300. We’ve added an extra €100 for our Xmas Lotto this week, 4 lucky winners will each receive €25, in addition to our usual prize winners. The draw takes place in The Bunker Bar on Sunday night at 9 o’clock. Tickets, €2 each or 3 for a fiver, are available in Joyce’s Newsagents and in the local pubs. A huge ‘míle buíochas’ to everyone who supports and promotes the Beale Lotto.
