Lotto;
Sellers of our yearly lotto tickets will be calling to all areas of the parish between now and the next draw on 7th November. The yearly ticket allows you the opportunity to be in each monthly draw for the entire year. This is a huge part of our clubs fundraising and we ask that you support our lotto.
The next draw will be for a jackpot of €10,200. Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL and Hungry Ed’s in Knocknagoshel, Supervalu in Abbeyfeale, Eileens Bakery and Deli in Castleisland, The Creamery at Feales Bridge and the usual sellers. Our club lotto can also be played online by following the link on www.knocknagoshel.gaa.ie
News from across the Atlantic;
Congratulations to St. Barnabas GAA Club that won the New York Senior Football Championship recently. Knocknagoshel native Mike Brosnan is Chairman of St. Barnambas club and selector on the team. Mike was man of the match in the 1988 County Final when St. Kierans defeated Dr.Crokes. Mikes two sons, Shane and Mikey were on the team that defeated Sligo 4-19 to 4-15 in the final. This was the first time an all American born team has won the Championship.
Condolences;
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the McAuliffe family, Mein on the recent death of Mary McAuliffe. May she rest in peace.

Well done to Antoinette O’Keeffe and Miriam Brosnan who completed VHI Womens Mini Marathon virtual event on Saturday. These inspirational women raised close to €6,000 during the weekend for Breast Cancer Ireland.
