Fixtures and results;

Knocknagoshel hosted Duagh in the North Kerry League on Sunday afternoon.  The impressive Martin Scannell scored 1-3 for Duagh in the first 20 minutes and Duagh went on to add another two goals and a point to leave the half time score Knocknagoshel 0-2  Duagh 3-4.

A pointed free by Edmond Walsh and a goal and two points by Niall Barrett reduced the deficit early in the second half.  Five points for Duagh in the second half was enough to give them victory despite a number of late scores by Knocknagoshel.  Final score Knocknagoshel 1-11 Duagh 3-9

Lotto;

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €9,300 and will be held in Walshs Bar on Saturday 8th February.   Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL, Supervalu Abbeyfeale, the local bars and usual sellers.  Our club lotto can also be played online by following the link on www.knocknagoshel.gaa.ie.  

Membership;

Knocknagoshel GAA club are holding a registration day on 16^th February at the Log cabin from 12.15pm - 1.15pm.  Membership rates for 2020 are: General Membership €30, Senior Players €50, College Students €30 and minor players €20.  Family rates are also available.   Benefits of membership are that players are insured to play; ordinary members can use the track at the field and can seek tickets from the club for Kerry games.  It is also a great way to show your support for the club.  Membership can also be paid using the GAA app, on clubforce.com or by contacting any club officer.

National Club Draw;

Tickets for the National Club Draw should be returned to any club officer as soon as possible.

Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection;

Knocknagoshel GAA are holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club. Bags of clothes can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field.  Please note that nothing else is acceptable other than clothing, shoes and handbags.
