Under 21 North Kerry Championship Semi Final

Ballylongford/Asdee/Beale 3.15 Brosna/Knocknagoshel 0-9.

With a great all round team performance the combination side of B/A/B progressed to the final of this competition with a bit to spare in this game played in Finuge on Saturday in near perfect conditions.

 Darragh Buckley opened the scoring with a point in the 3rd minute and continued his good form scoring 1-6 overall.

Centre forward Darragh Keane who was also to the fore in those early exchanges got the first of his two goals in the 13th minute a score which was threatening for some time after a few previous efforts went astray adding the second ten minutes later.

Brosna/Knocknagoshel weren't without their chances and Eoin Tydings had to be at his best to keep out a goalbound shot from Kieran O'Donnell in the 25th minute.

B/A/B 2-6 Brosna/Knocknagoshel 0-3.

The second half saw the introduction  Killian Fitzmaurice and Darren Horan for Knock/Brosna and Thomas Doherty and Michael Holly for B/A/B.

Knock/Brosna set about reducing the deficit and a Maurice O'Keeffe  goalbound shot was well saved once again by Eoin Tydings.Both sides swapped points before a Michael Holly shot came back off the crossbar and Darragh Buckley made no mistake from the rebound.

Eamon Prenderville replied with two quick points for Knock/Brosna with Kieran Horan adding another.

Ciaran O'Connor then replied with a brace while Cormac Linnane extended the lead with a further two points.Tadhg McEllistrim and Cillian O'Connor swapped points while Cormac Linnane brought his tally to six with two late points to bring the game to a close.

They now go forward to meet Finuge in the Final next Saturday 2pm venue Duagh
