GAA Lotto : There was no winner of last week’s lotto draw. The numbers drawn were 5,7, 25, 26. Lucky Dip winners were Cian McGibney, Carmel Gormley, Tom Buckley Snr., Joeseph O’Connor, Tom Dillane, Donnacha Finucane. Next week’s draw takes place in the Chinese Restaurant with a jackpot of €3,000. Thanks to all those who continue to support the Lotto.

U-21 Championship – Tarbert Moyvane U21 had an excellent victory over Ballydonoghue last Saturday in the quarter final of the U21 North Kerry championship. Played in Ballylongford, Ballydonoghue playing with the wind were up 1-11 to 0-5 at half time. The combination side gave a spirited performance in the second half and goals from Finbarr Carrig and Brian Heaphy plus nine points from Cillian Langan resulted in a one point win on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-16. The team now meet Castleisland or Finuge in the semi final.

Fixtures : The Tarbert Moyvane U16 team are playing Bally Asdee in the semi final of their championship next Sunday in Bally at 12pm. The quarter final of the senior championship between Tarbert and Ballyduff takes place on Sunday week November 12, in Listowel at 3pm

Tarbert Theatre Players – It is drama time once again and this time the fantastic cast will bring two top class comedies to the stage, Cassidy’s Chair and Marrying Mary, not to be missed. On November 18th and 19th the show will take place at Tarbert Community Centre and tickets can be booked from Eithne on 068 36238 or call in to the Chemist Shop. On November 24th and 25th the show takes place at St. John’s Listowel and tickets there can be booked by calling Joe on 068 22566.
