GAA Lotto : There was no winner of last week’s lotto draw. The numbers drawn were 3, 5, 16 and 25. Lucky Dip winners were Ciara Carmody, Noreen Boland, Derry O’Connell, Eileen Cronin, The Girls, Tarbert, Chris O’Connor, Saleen. Next week’s draw takes place in Savage’s Bar with a jackpot of €2,650. Thanks to all those who continue to support the Lotto.

County League : Tarbert completed their county league campaign when they made the trip to Portmagee last Sunday to take on Skellig Rangers. Tarbert dominated the first half but a soft goal just before half time had Tarbert trailing on a scoreline of 1-5 to 0-6. The second half was even enough with Tarbert backs playing particularly well but Skellig ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-8. A minutes silence before the start of the game was held in memory of Jimmy O’Sullivan of the Skellig club who sadly passed away last week. Jimmy has four sons and five nephews on the Skellig panel who were all togged on for the match on Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and may he rest in peace.

Fixtures and Results : Tarbert juniors take on Currow next Saturday in the Cahill cup while no date has been fixed for the urban league final against Ardfert. Our U-14 team lost to Beale in the North Kerry championship last week on a scoreline of 3-10 to 2-6.
