GAA Lotto : There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot draw. The numbers drawn were 11, 14, 21, 25. Lucky Dip winners were Tom Buckley, Elaine Stack, Martin Mulvihill, Seamus Enright, Ciara Haugh, Anthony Stack. Next week’s draw takes place in the Chinese Restaurant with a jackpot of €2, 250. County League : Played in Shannon Park last Sunday this vital county league game for both sides started off in championship style with Tarbert opening up a quick three point lead with Duagh responding with three points to make the sides level after ten minutes. Both sides exchanged points but Tarbert who were playing the better football going 8-6 up after twenty minutes thanks to points from Ambrose Lanigan and Brian Heaphy before the crucial score of the half came from a well taken goal by Shea McDonnell to leave Tarbert up 1-8 to 0-6 at half time. Killian Langan put Tarbert further ahead with a point at the start of the second half before another well worked goal by Finbarr Carrig after five minutes put Tarbert in the driving seat. Tarbert who were dominant in all areas of the field ran out convincing winners on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-9.
