North Kerry Football Board Coiste-na-nOg Awards

The North Kerry Board Coiste-na-nOg Awards night in association with McElligotts Oil, Asdee was held last Thursday night, 11^th January in Christy’s The Well upstairs meeting room. The guests of honour were our three victorious Kerry minors from the district, Adam O'Donoghue (Castleisland Desmonds), Barry Mahony (St. Senans) and Eddie Browne (Listowel Emmets).   John Ross vice-chairman, made a presentation to the players on behalf of the North Kerry Football Board to mark their contribution towards the historic 4-in-a-row Electric Ireland  All-Ireland Minor Championship victories.   

Kerry Minors Adam O Donoghue  and Eddie Browne then proceeded to present the man-of-the-match awards to the 8 winning recipients as follows: 

U-14 North Kerry League  Div. 1 Ger Brosnan, Moyvane. 

U-14 North Kerry  League Div.2 Ciaran Commane, Finuge. 

U-14 North Kerry  Championship Div.1 Darragh Mulvihill, Moyvane. 

U-14 North Kerry Championship Div. 2 Robert Stack, Beale. 

U-16 North Kerry  League Div. 1 Paul Walsh, Knock/Brosna/Duagh. 

U-16 North Kerry  League Div.2 Cian McGrath, Ballyduff. 

U-16 North Kerry Championship Div.1 Conor Lane,Knock/Brosna/Duagh. 

U-16 North Kerry Champioship Div. 2 Denis Quille, St. Senans.

Inservice Referees Meeting: 

All North Kerry referees are asked to attend an Inservice Referees meeting in Christys, The Well, Listowel on Wednesday  17th January at 8pm.  It is vitally important that all referees attend.

Can Clubs please submit Motions and Nominations before Wednesday 17th January at 12 noon, for the 2018 AGM which will take place on Wednesday 24th January 2018 @ 8pm in Christys The Well Listowel.

We are back into football action a week earlier than normal this year, the Senior Leagues again sponsored by Con McCarthy of McCarthy Insurance Listowel, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Con for his continued support on North Kerry Football, Senior Leagues will start on Sunday 28th January. SemiFinals the top two teams in the League Table, in Div 1A and Div 1B will qualifyfor the Semi Final with 1A v 2B and 2A v1B.  

 SemiFinal positions in Div 1 and Div 2 of the North Kerry Senior Leagues for 2018will be determined by League Table scoring difference.  Fixtures fulfilled will be taken into accountwhen deciding placing, where teams finish level on points.

 Promotion/Relegation

The bottom team on league points in both Divisions 1Aand Division 1B will play off the looser is relegated to Division 2 with thewinner of Division 2 automatically promoted in the place of the team being relegatedfrom Division 1

PROMOTION: In the event of teamsfinishing level on points, the team with most fixtures fulfilled will bepromoted. 

RELEGATION: In the event of teamsfinishing level on points, the team with least fixtures fulfilled will be relegated.

Division 2 League Format andPromotion/Relegation

15 A Side Competition

 The top team on the League Table will automatically qualifyfor the final, the 2^nd and3^rd teams placed onthe League Table will qualify for the Semi Final.
