Our senior footballers opened their account in the North Kerry League, Division 1, with a win Ballylongford on Sunday. The final score read Our next game is on Sunday next when we host Brosna in Ballybunion at 2 o’clock. Our last two games are against St Senans and Tarbert.


Beale seniors begin our County League, Division 5, on March 10th when we travel to Ballyduff. Then on March 24th, we host Sneem-Derrynane in Ballybunion. In May, we play Tousist and Kenmare Shamrocks (B). Other teams in Group A include Scartaglin, Dingle (B), Miltown-Castlemaine (B), Kerins O‘Rahullys (B) and Dr Crokes (C). We await details of the North Kerry League fixtures.  Beale minors contest Division 4 of the County League, with our first game on February 16th against St Senans in Ballybunion at 3 o’clock. Other teams in this division are Ardfert, Currow, Annauscal/Lispole and Fossa.


Another good turnout last Thursday evening for our 5km walk on the beach and streets of Ballybunion, despite weather warnings. Join us for a healthy walk, fresh air and exercise while catching up with friends and family on Thursday. We meet at Páirc de Staic, Sandhill Road, to sign in at 6.40. Walk starts at 7 o’clock. Ensure you have proper walking shoes and a hi-viz jacket. In the interest of safety, we regret dogs are not allowed. See you there!

Beale GAA extend sympathies to the O’Gorman and Bambury families on the recent death oh Mary O’Gorman, RIP. Her grandsons, Declan Bambury, and Ger O’Gorman, have been to the fore of the senior team for many years. Ar dheis Dé gurb a h-anam.
