North Kerry Senior League

Ballylongford 0-11    Beale 3-10 Ballylongford and Beale shook off the cobwebs of 2018 with an opening round game of the North Kerry League played at O'Rahilly Park on a calm Sunday morning.Beale were well on top in the early exchanges with Tom Joy to the fore,Ballylongford came more into it as the game progressed with Ciaran O'Connor getting them off the mark in the 17th minute,Bally continued making inroads and retired at half time a point adrift.The early exchanges of the second half were fairly even with both sides swapping points but Beale went on to score three goals at vital stages in the half from Paul Horgan,Philly Blake and sub Eric Daly to secure the two points.Ballylongford also put in a decent second half and closed the gap on a couple of occasions put the goals proved decisive in the end.Referee Colman FlahertyNext Sunday Ballylongford are at home to St. Senans.
