Division 1 Final

Emmets 0-13 V Beale 2-06

In what was most definitely a game of two halves it was our excellent minor side that came out on top after a thriller in Brosna on Sunday last. The lads were 6 points down at half-time but thanks to some fantastic performances all over the pitch and a stunning individual display from Sean Keane who returned with a personal tally of 9 points, did enough to get over the line. The wind was also a huge factor here in difficult conditions and the never say die attitude from Beale made it a serious test for Emmets but victory was theirs on a day to remember. Well done to Johnny, Sean, Eddie and their team on a successful campaign claiming a North Kerry League and Championship double. Emmets abu!
