A busy schedule on the playing pitch as we contest a final and two semi-finals in the coming weeks. All roads lead to Tralee on Saturday evening when Beale seniors take on Lispole in the final of the County Junior Club Championship in Austin Stack Park at 7 o’clock. Both teams topped their respective tables in the opening rounds and we are hopeful of bringing the silverware back to the seaside on Saturday evening.

Beale minors contest the County League, Division 4, semi-final against Lispole/Annauscal in Annauscal on Friday, May 11th. A great game is anticipated as the teams could not be separated on the scoreboard in a high-scoring game when they met in the opening rounds.

Eventhough we still have to play Ballydonoghue, Beale juniors have secured a semi-final spot in the North Kerry League, Division 3, as the outcome of this game will not have a bearing on the points table. We await details of date for this game.

Beale seniors succumbed to the challenges of Skellig Rangers in the County Senior League, Division 4, on Sunday. Played in glorious sunshine in in Pâirc de Staic, our opponents proved stronger and raised the green flag three times in the first half, while we converted from the penalty spot. We trailed by 3-6 to 1-4 at the short whistle and a relatively low-scoring second half ended the game, 3-11 to 1-7. We have two games in May. On the 13th we travel to Cordal and then we host Castlegregory in Pâirc de Staic on May 27th.
