County Minor League
Finuge 5-17 Ballylongford/Asdee 4-5
Trailing 3-9 to 0-3 at half time Bally/Asdee showed great character in the second half when they could so easily have thrown in the towel minus a number of regulars they battled back with four goals two from Liam Mulvihill one from the penalty spot and one apiece from Brendan Keane and Conor Carmody matching their opponents on the scoreboard in this half.
However Finuge buoyed by their first half performance ran out deserving winners.

Ciaran O'Connor with a pointed free got Ballylongford off the mark in the 14th minute, but it was Duagh who were doing all the scoring and by half time were

2-12 to 0-4 ahead their second goal coming from Martin Scannell in the 25th minute after a pass from Maher.

Ciaran O'Connor got a second point for Ballylongford a minute later before they carved out two good goal scoring opportunities Padraig O'Neill collected the ball from Kenneth Foley but his shot was well saved by Jer Kelly in the Duagh goals while Eoin O'Connor kicked over from close range after a good run from Stephen Foley.
