Goals were the difference between these two North Kerry sides, when Beale seniors played host to Moyvane In the County Novice Club Championship in Páirc de Staic on Sunday. While we were denied two great goal chances in the opening half, our opponents raised a green flag in both halves. Weather conditions made play difficult as a crosswind hampered free-flowing play. We went into the interval four points adrift, 1-4 to 0-3. A Moyvane goal early in the second half gave them a strong lead but we reduced the deficit to just a point, desperately seeking that elusive score as the clock ticked away. The final score read 2-5 to 0-10.

Beale seniors play St Senans in the opening round of the North Kerry Championship. Our juniors received a bye and our minors take on Knocknagoshel/Brosna in the opening round of Division 2 of the championship. Beale join forces again this year with Ballylongford and Asdee for the Under-21 Championship and have been drawn to play St Senans in the quarter final. Dates and venues to be confirmed.

Beale juniors are through to the quarter final of the Cahill Cup following a comprehensive win over Brosna on Monday evening (Aug 21st) in Páirc de Staic. Ballymacelligott is the opposition for the quarter final on Saturday, Sept 30th, @ 5 o'clock in Bsllymac.
