Simon Keane Memorial Under 8 and Under 10 Football Blitz @12p.m. in G.A.A. field followed by Family Fun Day with Bubble Soccer, Bouncy Slide, Novelty Games, and Tug of War.

Underage Soccer Tournament in Walsh’s field @5p.m. with Field Events including sheaf tossing. All proceeds to Pieta House.

Lotto;


The lotto draw for a jackpot of €6300 was held on Saturday night last in Walsh's Bar. The numbers drawn were 6, 21, 23 and 24. There was no winner of the jackpot. The five lucky dips of €30 each drawn went to Noelle Ahern Abbeyfeale, John Joe Collins Baranarig, Luke Herlihy Knockane, Noel Condon Templeglantine and Joe McAuliffe Knocknagoshel. . The next draw will be for a jackpot of €6400 and will be held in The Village Inn on Saturday 3rd of September. Tickets are available from Kieran's XL, Leahy's Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers.

Fixtures & Results:

Senior Team;

knocknagoshel will play Churchill on Saturday evening at 6p.m. in Churchill in the second last round of this year's county league. Congratulations to player and selector Brian O'Connor on his marriage to Marguerite Doran. We wish them every good health and happiness in the future. 

Under 16's:

Knock/Brosna/Duagh played on Wednesday 2nd August last to Castlegreogory but lost on a score line of 1-05 to 0-07.

All-Ireland Medal;

Congratulations to James Walsh on winning his third Junior All-Ireland medal in Portlaoise on Saturday last when Kerry defeated Meath in the final.
