The whole community and beyond is saddened at the death of Padhraic Moran RIP, following a tragic accident. As a mark of respect, Beale GAA postponed club events at the weekend - our social on Friday night and senior game which was scheduled for Sunday. Beale GAA extend deepest sympathies to Padhraic's family. Ar dheis  Dé grub a anam dhíl.

Coolard  was the venue for the meeting with neighbours, Ballydonoghue,  in  the Minor County League, Division 6A on Saturday. The first half saw our opponents chip away at  the Beale's defence, picking off a 4-point lead. Goals were on the menu for Beale, hitting the net three times to give us a 2-point cushion at the short whistle, 3-2 to  0-9. The second half saw Ballydonoghue picking off further points but we found the back of the net with two more goals and heading for a 3-point victory. However,  a last gasp goal from Ballydonoghue saw them get a share of the spoils. Final score 5-2 to 1-14. Beale line out: Gavin Casey, Diarmuid O'Mahony, Padraig Holly, David Hennessy, Tommy O'Neill, Darragh Kissane, Fintan Linnane, Fionnan Toomey, Jack O'Sullivan, Callum McSweeney, Conor Breen, Luke O'Donovan and Aaron Kelly. Substitutes: Conor Toomey for Conor Breen, Niall Downey for Aaron Kelly, Seán Maloney, Barry O'Neill, Michael Falvey. We host Castlegregory on Saturday. Our final round game will be away to Moyvane/Tarbert on March 25th.

Beale Seniors kick off the County League, Division 4, on St Patrick's Day when we travel to Keel.  Throw in at 2 o'clock. The following weekend we play host to Tarbert in Páirc de Staic, Ballybunion, and then we travel to Lispole on April 9th for the third round game.
