Kevin Hurley Novel Launch : Tarbert will offer a big welcome to Tarbert man Kevin Hurley when he launches his novel on this Saturday, 11th March, at 8pm in the Community Centre. The Hurley’s are a family with strong connections to Tarbert and they grew up on Main Street, Tarbert where their father was a Garda Sergeant.  Kevin has always loved his native place and this romantic novel is set right here in Tarbert. It will be a night of music, song, chat and refreshments. Kevin extends an invitation to everyone to attend the launch of “September Will Tell”. We look forward to seeing you there.

GAA Lotto : There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot draw. The numbers drawn were 6, 7, 8, 27. Lucky Dip winners were Wu, Olly Conyard, Trish Griffin, John Costello, Glin, Mary Holland, Fidelma Cregan. Next week’s draw takes place in Carmody’s Bar with a jackpot of €1,350. Thanks to all those who continue to support the Lotto.

North Kerry League : Tarbert’s travelled to Ballylongford last weekend in the third round of the North Kerry league and won convincingly on a scoreline of 6-8 to 0-6. Tarbert were on top throughout this one sided game leading at half time by 2-5 to 0-1. Tarbert’s next game is the opening round of the County League where we are at home to Fires on Sunday 19th March.

 Minors : Tarbert Moyvane game was called off last weekend due to weather conditions. The team have a bye this coming weekend.

Membership : Members are reminded that subscriptions are now due with players €50, students €25, Ordinary Members €25 and OAP’s €10. Membership dues can be given to Club Registrar Donnacha Enright or Joe Langan (Town).
