Finuge 3.10 - St Senan's 2.10

That time of the year again, no sooner were the exam pens put aside than the minors kicked into gear! And in James O' Sullivan Park, last Thursday evening these two teams served up a typical North Kerry menu, comprising of style, panache, commitment and tension! Right down to the final whistle this game could have gone either way! Both teams lined out weakened owing to injury, vacation, Kerry minor commitment etc... Indeed Finuge commenced the game with 12 players to Senans 13! Finuge then got up to 13 in the 20th minute and commencing the second half Senans went down to 12 because of injury with no sub available at the time! They did eventually field 13 again and probably unearthed a decent centre forward in the making! Referee on the night awarded 3 penalties... Finuge scoring 1-1 and Senans 1-00! When the final did go, Finuge will feel they deserved their 3pt win, Senans will feel this was one they were unlucky to lose! The neutral will probably feel both teams should have shared the points...
