Beale 2-07 Knock/Brosna 1-06 Beale Under 16s played Knock-Brosna on Easter Monday in cold, windy conditions in Ballybunion. The first half was close, with Knock-Brosna going in 0-5 to 0-4 in front at half time, Cillian Keane (with 3 points from play) and Kieran O Donnell to the fore for the visitors while Callum McSweeney and Killian Downey were on the score-sheet for Beale. Scores were hard to come by in the 2nd half but Cormac Linnane found the net with 10 minutes to go to put Beale 2 points ahead. However an excellent goal from Darren Horan had Knock-Brosna back in front again. Beale responded in the last 5 minutes and a goal from Johnny O'Sullivan and points from Cormac Linnane along with some great play from Fionnan Toomey saw Beale win on a score of 2-7 to 1-6.
