Moyvane/Tarbert 4.08 - Finuge 8.10

This game was played in Moyvane last Monday when the vistors started with a bang when full forward Jason Keane banged the ball to the back of the Moyvane/Tarberts net with only 26 seconds gone on the clock, with another point in quick succession it was all finuge. it took the new amalgated side Moyvane/Tarbert until the 4th minute when wing forward Finbar Carrig rattled the Finuge net, again in the 5th minute mid feilder Shea McDonnell caught the ball from the kickout and went straight in on goal to fire the ball to the back of the Finuge net game on. Again it was the homside who went on the attack when in the 8th minute corner forward Colin Enright spilt the posts, Moyvane/Tarbert were awarded a free which was sent in from the 45 region and fired over the bar by mid feilder Michael Heahpy in the 9th minute. Finuge's reply came in the 10th minute from corner forward Shane Conway when he pointed again Finuge went on the attack when in the 11th minute Darren Quilter split the posts. In the 13th minute Moyvane/Tarberts corner forward Gavin Kennelly pointed in the 15th minute wing forward Dale Mulvihill. But then Finuge regrouped and went on the attack, when between the 16th - 27th minutes scored 3-4 with some outstanding scoring left the amalgated side running ragged, Moyvane/Tarbert scored one more point from the boot of Michael Heaphy in the 30th minute, with substitution's not having the required impact that left the Half time score Finuge 4.07 - Moyvane/Tarbert 2.05

Second half and on the score board first was Moyvane/Tarbert when in the 5th minute mid feilder Shea McDonnell fired the ball to the back of the Finuge net. It took until the 12th minute for the next score with some great defensive work on both side's, when wing forward Michéal Lynch Moyvane/Tarbert split the post's, in reply Finuges wing forward Colin Sheehy took a great far out point in the 13th minute, the ever dangerous full forward Jason Keane fired the ball to the back of the Moyvane/Tarbert net in the 14th minute to bring his tally to four goals on the day. Moyvane/Tarberts reply didnt come until the 17th minute when again wing forward Micheal Lynch split the posts to keep his side in touch, again in the 18th minute corner forward Colin Enright pointed. Finuge were on the attack again in the 20th minute John Buckley spilt the posts, in the 22nd minute Jeremy McKeane goaled. The last score of the game came for Moyvane/Tarbert when sub Donal Stack fired the ball to the net in the 23rd minute. But Finuge werent finished and in the 24th and 28th minutes sub Tom Molyneaux scored two goals and John Buckley pointed in the 26th minute leaving full time score Finuge 8.10 - Moyvane/Tarbert 4.08
