Bally/Asdee 1-15 Knock/Brosna 3-7

This was a very entertaining game played in perfect playing conditions at Brosna on Monday last. Both sides played very well, but it was Brosna who started off the stronger playing some neat football but Bally/Asdee settled and came strongly into the game inside the opening quarter with some fine scoring and at the interval led by 1-8 to the home sides 1-4.
The second half continued with Bally/Asdee once again in great scoring form kicking some very fine scores early on during this half. However Brosna after been sluggish in their play early on came back with a couple of goals, making it a very close finish, Asdee/Bally pushed that bit harder as the game came to a conclusion resulting in a win by 2pts.
