Finuge 6.11 v Duagh 1.09

At O'Sullivan Park, Finuge on Saturday last the home team had their second convincing win in this competition. Having defeated Beale last week they proved much too strong for Duagh on this occasion. Fielding eight of their starting All Ireland final fifteen against the North Kerry Champions who played without a number of regulars Finuge led 2-8 to 0-3 at the interval. They continued to dominate in the second half and eventually won on a score of 6-11 to 1-7. A feature of the home team's performance was the scoring exploits of full forward Ricky Heffernan who had a personal tally of 4-1.
