Kilgarvan 0-4 Valentia 4-9.

Valentia Young Islanders travelled to Kilgarvan to take on the locals, who were very much understrength on the day and they paid the penalty with a Brendan O Sullivan inspired Valentia just cruising to a comphrensive victory.  Goals at various stages of the game kept the Islanders comfortably ahead coming from Ger O Shea, 2, Andy Quigley and Jim Lynch. For Kilgarvan, Pat O Shea, 3 and Padraig Dillon got on the scoring.
