Moyvane 1-7 Cromane 1-13

Con Brosnan Park was the venue for the final round of the County football league, where Moyvane faced Cromane.  Kerry star, Donnacha Walsh, was the first to get his name of the score sheet, kicking a glorious point from play.  This was quicky followed by a point
from Moyvane’s nifty corner forward, Colin Enright.  There wasn’t much between the two teams in the opening 20 minutes.  Sean O'Sullivan popped over a point from play, again followed by a point from Colin Enright.  A tussle between full back, Shane Stack, and full forward Sean O'Sullivan, saw both receive yellow cards.  Aidan Keane, the winner of a free, secured another score for the home team, but a goal for Cromane’s Shane Ahern saw them edge advantage going in at half time, with a score of 0-05 to Moyvane, 1-08 to Cromane.

Darren Houlihan scored the two opening scores of the second half, one from play, the other a 45.  A long high ball in from Moyvane’s Brian Stack saw the back of the net, which gave Moyvane a great boost.  They fought hard right to the bitter end, but again Donnacha Walsh proved hard to defeat and he scored a further two points, with Mikey Houlihan getting his name on the scoresheet also.  Final score was Moyvane 1-07 Cromane 1-13.
