Desmonds 0-10   Dingle 2:18
Dingle came to Castleisland this afternoon with the purpose of taking away two points and they duly did with a very compressive display.  They opened the scoring in the first minute    

with a goal from Micheál Slattery and after five minutes  they were leading by 1-03 to no score for the home side and this afternoon was going to be hard for Desmonds.  It took Desmonds until the 13th minute to register their first score from a Cian O'Connor free, after Graham O'Connor for Desmonds had his penalty saved in the ninth minute after Luke Lyons was fouled.  Dingle’s Conor Geaney was to finish the half with four points with some lovely scoring.  Cathal Bambury scored Dingle’s second goal in the 25th minute, to add to his impressive tally of three points, to finish the half with 1-03.   Garreth Brosnan added his name to the scoreboard with a point.  Paul Geaney kept up his impressive year in football with a lovely point from centre half forward and the only scores from Desmonds were from Cian O'Connor and a 45 from Stephen Bartlett.  Half Time Score:  Desmonds 0-4 Dingle 2-09.

The second half saw six players for Dingle get on the score sheet with some great team work, points coming from Conor Geaney 0-03, Paul Geaney 0-02, 12th and 14^th minute from play, Padraig Sheehy, Cathal Bambury, Luke O'Connor, and Mickey O'Boyle scoring from a great run from corner back in the 16th minute.

Desmonds scored six points in the second half from the boot Cian O'Connor 0-03(Frees),    Pat Fitzgerald, Padraig O'Connell, and Graham O'Connor.
