Firies 2-09,  Skellig Rangers 2-11.

Skellig Rangers travelled to Farranfore to take on Firies on a beautiful day for football.  In what turned out to be a very tight first half, Firies opened the scoring through Shane O'Donoghue.  Skellig replied through Michael O'Sullivan.  Firies scored 1-03 with the goal coming from Con O'Mahony after a great run.  Skellig replied with three points through Diarmuid Keating.  Scores were exchanged to leave the half time score:  Firies 1-05 Skellig

After the break, Skellig took control and hit 2-03 with the goals coming from Danny O'Sullivan and Roman O'Shea.  Firies came back and scored a goal through Conal Murphy, to bring them back into the game.  With further points from Colm O'Shea and William Courtney, it set up a tense finish. Final Score: Firies 2-09 Skellig Rangers 2-11.
