Kilgarvan 1-08 Moyvane 3-08

An understrength Kilgarvan team opened the scoring with two points from midfielder John Mark Foley, before Moyvane replied with a point from full forward Martin Stack. The same player then struck for Moyvane’s first goal, which was followed by another goal from Brian Stack five minutes later.  Then Kilgarvan’s Gearoid Fennessy replied with an excellent point.
Kilgarvan finished the half strong with a great goal from John Mark Foley, which he then added a point before the half time whistle, which left the score 2-3 to 1-4 in Moyvane’s favour.

 Kilgarvan rallied in the second half with two points from John Mark Foley and one from Gearoid Fennessy, to leave them a point ahead with ten minutes remaining.  Against the run of play, Moyvane broke up the field and scored a great goal from corner back Jerry Clancy. Moyvane finshed the game with three more points to leave the full time score 3-08 to 1-08 in Moyvane’s favour
