Ballyduff 0-11 Cordal 1-9.

Ballyduff senior footballers suffered defeat in Ballyduff on Saturday evening going down to Cordal by the narrowest of margins.   Cordal played with a strong breeze in the first half and led by three points at halftime.

 Ballyduff came back strongly with the wind at their back and points from Mikey Boyle and Padraig Hussey made it a one point game.  In a rare attack, Cordal scored a goal. Ballyduff came back again and had what looked like a legitimate point waved wide by the referee, which would have drawn the game.   Final score Ballyduff 0-11 Cordal 1-9.
