Tarbert 0-10, Keel 0-9

This match was played in Shannon Park last Saturday evening, where both sides adopted a sweeper system and scores proved to be a premium. Half time score and it was looking good for Keel at 0-6 to 0-5.

First score of the second half was by Gary Sayers of Keel to put them up 0-7 to 0-5, playing with the wind and looking likely winners. Tarbert Killian Langan and Shane O'Connor levelled matters, before Tarbert scored three unanswered points to lead 0-10 to 0-7 with seven minutes left.   Sayers got Keel’s second score of the second half entering the final minutes and another Keel point left one between them with minutes remaining.  Tarbert backs stood firm and held out for a deserving victory.
