Lios Póil 1-11   Raonaithe na Sceilige 0-05

Lios Póil got off to a positive start in the County League defeating Skellig Rangers.  Lios Póil got the first two points courtesy of Deaclán Ó Súilleabháin.  Skellig Rangers replied with a point from play from Seamus Ó Súilleabháin;  however, it was Lios Póil who kept their heads in front with two further points.  Ciarán Ó Súilleabháin was one of the scorers, before Skellig Rangers replied with a point to leave Lios Póil leading by two points.  Lios Póil, through a point from play by Nollaig Ó hUigín, ensured that they held a 0-05 to 0-02 lead at half time.

Playing against the wind, Lios Póil extended their lead further with two points.  Skellig Rangers through Alan Devane added a point and Breandán Ó Deargáin extented their lead. A point from play by Stiofán Ó Súilleabháin  narrowed the gap for Skellig Rangers, only once more for Lios Póil to add two points in a row.  That left the score 0-11 to 0-04 in favour of Lios Póil.  A goal by Ciarán Ó Súilleabháin, with full time approaching, left Lios Póil  victorious on a final score Lios Póil  1-11, Skellig Rangers 0-5.
