Renard 0-09      Castlegregory 2-10
Renard were at home to Castlegregory on Sunday last. The game was played in dry breezy conditions and Renard played against the breeze in the first half.   Mark Sugrue opened the scoring for Renard with a point and followed it with another point from a free. Castlegregory’s Brandon Hoare and Adam O Donnell scored points and Jordan Quirke scoring  a goal.  Eoin O Neill replied with a Renard point. The score at the end of the first quarter was Renard 0-03 Castlegregory 1-02.   The second quarter saw Renard’s Robert Wharton and Mark Sugrue score points.  Castlegregory had three points from frees by Anton Kelleher.  Adam O Donnell, Timmy Moriarty and Colm O Mahony’s points left the half time score of Renard 0-05 to Castlegregory 1-08.  

An Anton Kelleher goal opened the second half scoring, a point from a free by Anton Kelleher and a point by Colm O Mahony put the score Renard 0-05 and Castlegregory 2-10. Castlegregory lost Brendan Hoare due to injury and Micheal O Shea was introduced.
A succession of points by Eoin O Neill, Mark Sugrue (Free), Paudie Casey and Darragh Fitzgerald left the final score Renard 0-09 and Castlegregory 2-10.
