Ballydonoghue 2-3. Brosna 2-18 

Brosna had a much easier than expected win away to Ballydonoghue having 15 points to spare over the home side.  There was little between the sides with twenty minutes gone. Then Brosna hit a purple patch before half time, kicking five points in as many minutes without reply.  Half time score:   Ballydonoghue 1-2 Brosna 0-8.

Brosna continued in the same vain after the break with Mike Finnegan finding the net in the first few minutes.  Ballydonoghue’s Stephen Foley did cancel this out soon afterwards, but Brosna tails were up at this stage and they coasted through the second half, with Flor McAuliffe, Adam Barry and Tom McGoldrick proving a real handful
