Fossa 1-13 Ballymacelligott 0-18

Fossa played Ballymac in the second round of the County league on Sunday. This proved to be a high scoring, open and entertaining game of football. Ballymac raced into an early two point lead, before Fossa struck for a goal from Tadgh O' Shea in the fifth minute; however Aidan Breen kept Ballymac in touch with a brace of frees. It was nip and tuck all the way through with the sides exchanging the lead on a few occasions and the half finished with Fossa on top.  Half time score Fossa 1-08 Ballymac 0-09.

The visitors upped the ante in the second half and controlled proceedings for the most part, again both sides exchanged scores, but as the game entered its latter stages, Ballymac took control and kicked two late points to seal a very good victory, in what was a good game of football.
