Annascaul 0-14    Fossa 1-08

Fossa travelled to Annascaul for Round 6 of Credit Union Senior Football League Division 3 match played on Saturday evening. The home side opened the scoring with a free in the third minute of the game. The only goal of the match came half ways during the first half and was scored by Fossa’s number 8, Fintan Coffey. Fossa led at halftime 1-4 to 4pts.

The second half was a much more entertaining and competitive affair.  Annascaul lost Eoin O’Neill early in the second half for a black card offence. The sides were level twice in the second half, before Annascaul took the lead.  The home side maintained this lead as a result of a number of impressive scores and finished winners by three points.  Annascaul remain undefeated at home in this year’s County League campaign.
