Fossa 0-11 Finuge 0-11

 

Fossa played Finuge in the 7th round of the County League on Saturday evening. The homeside had the best of the exchanges in the first half and were well in control of proceedings with a brace of points from Tadgh O' Shea, the visitors found it very hard to get to grips with the game, taking 18 minutes to register their first score from Shane Conway, followed with another point to leave six between the sides going in at the break. 

Half time score Fossa 0-08 Finuge 0-02.

Finuge came back into the game in the second half and took the fight to their hosts, reeling off a couple of frees from Shane Conway. In the 20th minute Finuge were awarded a penalty which was saved by Colin Myers in the Fossa goal, the game was a tight affair at this stage with Fossa just in front by a point, then in the last few minutes of the game Fossa were awarded a penalty which they missed. This gave Finuge a chance to level matters with a Conor O'Keeffe point to which he duly converted leaving the game all square at the final whistle.
