St Pats 0-12   Listry 1-11

Listry overcame a lacklustre St Pats in a robust encounter, in which Listry's Damian Clifford scored eight points, with six from frees, as they took the two points on offer. 

Playing in sunny Blennerville under perfect conditions, the away side registered the first score of the game from a free converted by Damian Clifford.  St Pats' Gary Savage levelled matters a minute later, when he fisted the ball over the bar from close range, despite pressure from Listry's Kieran Murphy. The only goal of the match came in the third minute, when John Foley was allowed free passage unchallenged, only to blast beyond the reach of John Fitzgerald in goal for St Pats.  St Pats re-grouped and went in search of a goal of their own through Brandon Boyle, whose goal-bound strike was tipped over for a point by Colm Counihan in goal for Listry.  Luke Mulligan added back to back points for the home side in between a Damian Clifford free, but it was the visitors that took a 1-06 to 0-7 lead to the break.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

The visitors started the second half the same way as the first with Anthony Kennedy losing his marker to fist over, thereby extending Listry's lead to three points after the first minute. St Pats’ David O'Callaghan added a brace, both from frees to cut the gap to just a point and after seven minutes of play, captain, Liam O'Sullivan pointed to level the match following an interchange of passes between David O’Callaghan and Eoin Greaney.  There were a couple of great saves within minutes by both goalkeepers, as both teams went for the jugular but in the end, Listry held out to win by two points.
